After two years of absence in the most important competition in the world, Luis Eduardo Hernández "El Mulato" artistic director of Swing Latino, decided to embark on a hard road to reinstate his company in the upper echelons of the world of salsa .

With a born leadership, I bet for the triplet in 3 of the 4 most important categories in cabaret groups; Despite the fall in the semifinals of the Aces del Ritmo (Swing Latino Amateur Group) the company was clear that in the other two categories should leave the name high as was customary in several years ago. With a very risky bet, El Mulato impeccably empowered the new talents of the Kings of Swing (Sub base of Swing Latino) casting a candle with their feet in the bullring of cañaveralejo, thus achieving the desired title that would mark the history of the company, because all that group was consecrated for the first time, and brought the eighth professional cup to the windows of Swing Latino.

In  the category Elite where only the champion champions made presence in the competition. The Master opted for a choreography as is customary in the industry, inspired by peace, he created a choreographic work at another level. In the dressing room of Swing Latino élite, El Mulato, broke all the traditional schemes of the dance companies, putting on stage a proposal from the time of Simón Bolívar that would totally impact the public.

They were around 4 minutes of the song "I take the leathers" of Chivirico Dávila, where Swing Latino, returned and filled with emotion to his followers with the strength, speed and elegance that characterizes him when dancing; the time of the award did not wait, the nerves were, but the security of the great work that was done in so much time gave the verdict that proclaimed the ninth cup for the company, becoming one of the companies with more awards worldwide .
